On 25 January 2022, the TM5 Partners participated in a webinar under the TM5 Bad Faith Trademark Project, which is led by JPO. The workshop was organised by JPO, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Singapore/Bangkok, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) Indonesia. Participants, including officers and examiners of DGIP, learned about the different laws and practices applied in each TM5 jurisdiction to combat bad faith trade mark filings and asked questions of experts of all TM5 Partners (CNIPA, EUIPO, JPO, KIPO and USPTO).
