The EUIPO launched the TM5 Staff Exchange Project in 2022, with the main objective to share practices among TM5 Partners regarding the temporary exchange of staff and to consider the exchange of staff specifically for the purpose of working on TM5 projects, among others. During the trial phase of the project, the EUIPO received two seconded national experts from the KIPO in 2023 and 2024. The Partner offices learned from each other’s secondment practices and used the exchange of information to reflect on their own practices. The Partners will now build on the project’s findings to consider exchanging staff on a bilateral basis.
