Providing reliable statistical data for trademarks and evaluating what this data can tell for future operations was a point of conversation when the TM5 Partners convened on 20 November for expert level discussions on statistical data analysis. They exchanged views on trademark filing forecasting methodologies, open IP data initiatives and the latest advancements on IP data analytics. This initiative was carried out in the framework of the TM5 Common Statistical indicators project, which delivers detailed statistical information annually about the Partners’ incoming applications, registrations, top classes and pendency times.
