All TM5 Partner Offices integrated into TMview

The TM5 Partners are pleased to announce that all of the TM5 Partner Offices have joined the TMview search tool, thereby achieving the TM5 TMview project objective to increase transparency and user-friendly access to trade mark information.
In 2012, the TM5 TMview project was initiated with the aim of improving access to trade mark related information by including data from the TM5 Partners in TMview.  Established by EUIPO in 2010, TMview is a free online tool that allows users to consult the trade marks of all participating trade mark offices at a national, international, and EU level.
With the aim of improving access to trade mark-related information, the TM5 Partner Offices have been working since December 2012 to expand the data available on the TMview platform.  Over the last several years, TMview has grown steadily as the TM5 Offices integrated data into TMview:  EUIPO in 2010, the USPTO on 18 December 2013, KIPO on 12 February 2014, and JPO on 23 November 2015.
As of 19 May 2021, TMview now includes trade mark data made available by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).  The addition of CNIPA data takes the total number of trade marks in the search tool from 62 million to over 94 million from 75 participating IP offices.
The TM5 Partners are pleased to meet the objectives of such an important project.
